Marlin / Glenfield 75c .22 Caliber help?

I have a 75c .22 caliber carbine. I need to know if the regular Marlin 60 .22 rifle parts can be interchanged with the Glenfield 75c mod rifle. It has the vintage squirrel eating an acorn stock and I'd like to replace it with the Marlin 60 synthetic stock. But the 75c is a carbine with a shorter barrel and mag tube. I don't know if that would affect the stock, would it? Plus, I would like to know if I could keep the breech bolt lock open. Is there anyway? I'm not familiar with this gun and would like to know this info. Thanks for any help.

Tattoo advice ma'ams and sirs?

First of all, I'm still pretty young, so there is absolutely nothing set in stone. But I'm thinking of getting a tattoo when I'm older. Airsoft Jg M4 basic carbine not working correctly?

As i was firing fine in semi the trigger just stopped envoking any gearbox response and would just press in and do nothing for both semi and full auto modes. When i switched from semi to safe and then back again a few times their was some tightness when switching i didn't feel before and now even though the tightness stopped, i think the problem is related to that. What kind of problem does this sound like? What part is underneath the selector switch internally that could be partially obstructing switching firing modes? any responses for info would be appreciated, thank you

Sharp Heel pain help!!!!!!!?

I have had this mysterious sharp heel pain for a number if years now, but it only happens after sprinting and then I come to a complete stop, soon after the pain comes. It becomes difficult to walk yet alone sprint again, and I always seem to get it in my baseball games. The pain lasts for a couple of hours. I am 5'11.5 and size 13 shoe if that helps

I'm looking to pick up a mosin nagant. They very inexpensive however I just want one. So I'm trying to figure out which one I would like the best. I like the shooting qualities associated with the 91/30 however I like the size of the M38 and the M44 nagants. Now the 91/30 Dragoons are slighter smaller than the 91/30 so I think that might give me the best of both worlds. And also the model 1959 carbines look like it might be a good compromise of length and accuracy for size and recoil. Does anyone have any info on the dragoon and Model 1959 Carbines? Hi Point 9mm Carbine?

Im wanting to buy a hi point 9mm carbine, ive researched it a bit and decided that it would be perfect for my first weapon. I just have a couple of questions. I think it's me! I seem to always fall for the guys who are projects- guys who are a challenge for me. I am pretty- could date pretty much any guy- but I am guarded and never let anyone in. Is there a money glitch/cheat in Oblivion besides the Duplicating glitch (Xbox360)?

I just downloaded/installed the Shivering Isles expansion pack, and the duplicating glitch does not work anymore. Is there another cheat/glitch for the Xbox360?

What price should I ask for this gun?

I have a M-1 Carbine Rifle made by Universal. I believe it is a 30 caliber semi-automatic w/clip. I haven't shot a full box of rounds through it. I bought it new. However, I put it away in a closet and basically forgot about it. It has two scratches on it's left side, and a small amount of surface rust which cleaned off easily. Otherwise it is in good shape. The action seems to work just fine. When I shot it I was impressed. It was pretty accurate. I think it still looks good. That was then and then is now. I wouldn't be thinking about selling it now other than I need to raise money to buy my medicines and have been unemployed for over 4 1/2 years and need the cash. Can i be fired because i ran out of FMLA time when the reason I was out was because I was injured at work?

I filed a work mans comp claim but it was denied because they argued I had a previous condition which isn't true. I am in appeals now. I don't understand how I could legally get fired when i was injured because someone left a cart in the middle of the isle and I fell over it. I had foot surgery last October and I only had 2 weeks left of FMLA. I am also upset because when they were firing me on the phone they had someone in the office as a witness. I told them that they have given me no choice but to file a work mans comp claim. I was trying to avoid that because I didn't want to rock the boat so to speak because they were already laying people off. I did have an accident report on file. My HR director didn't excuse the witness from her office and proceeded to read off personal medical information from a report my doctor had sent her. Isn't that a HIPPA violation? I don't know what my next step should be or am I just screwed out of my job and my privacy because I fell and was injured at work?

I have a wwii type 30 carbine that is 7mm mauser with a hook style saftey.Gunsmith said Italy made some for Japan but why 7mm Mauser? Fallout Vegas: If I have Rex, Lily and mildly good weapons will I be able to take on 5 NCR threatners.?

I killed 4 or 5 NCR Mercinaries for weapons. Many NCR Guys came up on me and started threating me that I had 3 days to make things right. The actuall threatner was weraing some forest ranger outfit so im not to scared of her. I saw like 3 more men with her. Another was wearing NCR metal armour from the cover of Fallout 3. I am vilified from the NCR if im not wearing NCR clothing. I (It was really Lily) killed 4 NCR men when i was in NCR clothing. So im screwed from thrying to use the "peaceful" way of things. Quest woln't do the trick eather for multiple resons. Im a level 14 (I might be 15 or 16 by 2 1/2 days.) I have a alien blaster that im very proud of. Many shotguns. Assult Carbine. 10mm Pistol and Submaching gun. Many revolvers. Flamer. and stuff like that. Rex and Lily are very good fighters. Will they be able to totally sloughter these dudes? Do these guys just come up on the 3rd day where ever you are? Because if thats the case imma just hang around Ceasers Legion for a wile. True to Ceaser. Restoring a M1 Garand and a M1 Carbine?

Hi, i recently inherited a M1 Garand and a M1 Carbine from my Grandfather and was wonder, would restoring them diminish the value or raise it. The wood on both of them is a little beat up and the actions and barrels has a little rust and alot of gunpowder residue. I want to take them to my local gunsmith and have the wood sanded and relacquered and all of the metal cleaned and polished, but would doing this lower the value to collectors or raise it? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Also i had the serial numbers checked out and they are authentic to their times and not fakes. And if anyone knows what kind of price i could get for them ( fully restored or not). Thank you

A 22lr semi-auto would be nice, light and can kill what your going to eat, But the perfect rifle (i'm looking for one) would be a Steven model 24c, which is a 22lr/410 over under short barrel this would be sweet, light but you could have bird shot shells and 1 or 2 rifle slugs (pun-kin balls). My friend is interested in buying a gelding. He's a great horse in general, but he's got a few little problems, and one of them is under-run heels-- but neither she or I know how big of a problem that is. Don't get either of the two. Dboys and CYMA are both unreliable brands. You're better off buying a gun such as an ECHO 1 or a VFC assault rifle. They are top quality and run very well.

Bullet FPS Variance Vs. Accuracy: Reloaders!?

I'm fairly big into reloading- Out of my Beretta CX4 Carbine in 9mm I chronoed the 124 (Should be, but come out more like 127ish) grain bullets to be coming out at a good 1475 FPS. Of course not every bullet was traveling at 1475 exactly, there was variance. 1465-1485 was about normal. I consider this to be due to several factors: Not every bullet weighs exactly the same, not every case had the EXACT amount of powder, seating depth variance might have something to do with it, phase of the moon, what have you. Anyhow my question: I've got these statistics (fps figures), How do I make sense of the data, as in, What kind of affect will this variance have on the accuracy of my ammunition (of course, lets assume the gun is in a bench-vise.) Does a 25 fps spread have any difference in where the bullet will land?

My embarrassing moment was when i was wearing a cami tank top that was a little big on me. So one day i was in the grocery store looking at the shelves when my bra strap and the cami strap got caught on this hook thing. I was in a very busy isle. What should i do about my Ruger 10 22?

Why do anything to it? The bull barrel isn't really necessary because you aren't going to use it for competition or anything. The bull barrel is really only necessary on center fire rifles that can build up heat very quickly and become less accurate. A bigger barrel is not a big deal on a .22 especially if you plan on carrying it very far. That bbl will add a solid pound or so to the overall weight which will really hurt when packing it around for a couple hours. My suggestion for an improvement would be the extended mag release because i always used to fumble with mine and drop the mag out on the ground. Other than that, it looks like you are set up pretty well for your intended purpose.

Please answer! Small Dog Syndrome books!?

I sadly admit it... My 2 year old Pomeranian/yorkie mix has "small dog syndrome"): I KNOW it's my fault he is like this, and it is literally tearing my family apart. Tanner has always taken to me and my mom, and never really to my brother or dad. My dad travels during the week so he doesn't see tanner very often, but when he does tanner barks non stop at him, and is way to protective of me. He has not ever bitten anyone but I fear for that on the future. Tanner has gotten so bad that I stay in my room all the time because tanner will bark and nip at my dads heels if he gets up from watching tv. Tanner gets along with other dogs, but when the owners try to pet him ge barks and gets defensive over me. I want to stop this before it gets out of hand. And guys, I'm admitting I made him like this so no mean or rude comments! I want to know of any books that are specifically for my dog. Ruger 10/22 Scope Mount Question?

I just bought a new Ruger 10/22 rifle and swapped the original stock for a Archangel 556 AR clone stock. I have the original factory 10/22 scope rail along with 2 Nikon 1 inch factory scope rings. The rings will defiantly fit the Simons, the Rings will mount tightly on the rail, and the rail will fit onto any Ruger 10-22 because I am including the longer screws. The Ruger factory new rail and new Nikon Rings are backed by their respective companies for any defects and I'll sell them on paypal for $20 OBO shipped. That's way better then the amazon deal and your actually getting better quality parts for your 10-22 build. I highly suggest you just buy the scope off of gunbroker because there is no point in having two sets of rings and the rings that come with the Simmons scope are junk. Experience with putting a cast on a horse?

I worked for a vet for four years and only ever saw one horse with a cast on. It was a young thoroughbred colt that was born with retracted tendons. He had surgery to correct the retracted tendon on one of his front legs and had a cast on it. He was unable to bend his knee, therefore was unable to walk on his own. There was staff with him around the clock to feed him milk out of a bucket, lift him to his feet and walk him around the barn aisle for exercise. He could walk with his other legs okay, but we had to loop a lead rope around the leg in the cast and pull it out to the side and place it in front of him with every stride. He then needed help laying back down. He needed tended to every two hours and we had to flip him over ever so often to make sure he wasn't always laying on the same side. Little Philip never "messed up" his cast. It was applied at the clinic immediately following his surgery but I imagine the vet could bring the supplies to your farm instead of having you trailer an injured horse. However, if you can afford it, you may want to trailer him in and let him stay with the vet for a while if it's an injury that severe and if he is as high maintenance with a cast on as Philip was. It was hard enough to care for him with a full staff of veterinary employees. I can't imagine trying to care for him on my own. But you have to keep in mind that every case is different. Just listen to your vet's recommendations, follow their instructions, and hope for a fast recovery!

I am so Insecure, I don't know what to do anymore...?

This is driving me nuts! I don't think I am ever gonna be happy.. because of this. I got with my boyfriend in November 2009, I never had self esteem issues when I was with him, we used to watch porn together, I used to comment on other women with him and say they were fit, I didn't even care about watching t.v with naked women in or him watching porn on his own, or even looking at a nude mag. Any of you tried a red dot scope on an SKS?

I bought one Chinese SKS with beat-up stock but very good rest of the condition. It shoots 2-3 MOA. So first thing I did was replace the stock with Tapco telescopic stock. This one comes with mounting rail just behind the barrel. I put the cheapest BSA red dot scope available. SKS still shoots the same. Red dot holds fine but only complain is Battery finishes quickly and once you replace the battery. You need to zero it up all over again. But as per my observation goes shooting doesn't reposition the dot

Do I Have Weak Ankles?

Any time i do any type of exersizing that has to do with some sort of running and sometimes walking my ankles kill. At first its just when im running but then if i continue, it gets worse and i feel the pain even when im just walking. for example, yesterday i was playing soccer outside with a friend and about have way through my ankles started hurting just when i was running. then i was running and stepped over the ball and my ankle hurt so bad i could hardly walk. the pain is on the outside of my ankles right beside the big round bone towards the heel. do i have weak ankles? or could anyone have any ideas of what this is? thanks!!

Why is my dog so hard to train?

Ok, so I have a 4 month old Australian Shepherd and she is really hard to train. I know naturally Aussies are really smart dogs and catch on to things quick. It's not that she isn't smart, because when she figures things out she's spot on. The only problem is she gets really excited and can't focus. All she wants to do is snap at the treats and it's so frustrating because not only is she not learning the tricks efficiently, she is chomping my fingers off! The only commands she knows are the basic sit and down. I try to teach her other things like stay, come, heel, etc. but she is just too much. Please give me some pointers! Thank you :))

Glass Bedding a rifle for higher accuracy?

I have problems with recoil. First, I am very small. Five foot four, 110 pounds. Secondly, I am recovering from surgery. I have a congenital birth defect of a caved in chest (pectus excavatum). It didn't bother me when I was young, and I even got a waiver for it so I could serve in the military. It got to where it was causing me heart problems, so I got the surgery at age 34. People get it normally when they are 12 or 13, but my father was angry about having a late-in-life "oops," baby and couldn't be bothered. Because I got the surgery so late in life, they had to take drastic measures. Normally, they put in one metal strap in your chest to open it up. I now have three large, heavy, painful metal straps in my chest. Any sort of recoil is so painful that I think I may pass out. Normally, I would go hunting with a BLR Lever Action rifle in .22-250, but I am going hunting in Texas this year. The mule deer I hunt in the Angeles National Forest right behind Los Angeles are not that big. But I got a big tax return this year. I took a $6,000 pay cut as a teacher this year due to the State of California's finances. Ironically, I got a very large tax return. Because I paid a lot more taxes than I had to, due to the pay cut. So I have the money to go hunting in Texas for Pere David Deer at a hunting ranch. However, Pere David Deer are about 400 pounds, and a 60 grain bullet will not cut it. I need a .243. To cut the recoil, I got an automatic. The action absorbs the recoil. Over the internet, I got a Winchester Model 100 semi automatic carbine that was fired once and put away. The gun needs a lot of work. It has no checkering on the forearm, the stock is three inches too long for me, and the scope is this bizarre thing with "rangefinder," and "widefield," lens. I don't like it. It is a Redfield 2x-7x with all these bells and whistles. Some fad from the 1970's. (The bill of sale in the box is from 1972. I bought the gun from the guy's widow.) Anyway, I fired the gun. Oh Lord. 6 inch groups to 8 inch groups. So I went to this old fart at the range who is considered the authority on everything. I have personally seen this guy (he is 71 ) shoot his .257 Weatherby Magnum into a group of about a nickel at 100 yards. He fired my gun. The best he could do was a five inch group, and this guy is a magnificent shot. He said I needed to a) Put a Leupold Scope on the gun b) Make sure the scope mount is correctly mounted, and c) have the gun "glass bedded." (whatever THAT is). He says if I do that, the gun's groups will shrink in half, probably down to 2 and 1/2 inches. So I sent away for a Leupold 1.5x- 5x scope (I rarely shoot over 100 yards), and the mount for it recommended by Leupold. The old fart gave me the card for a gunsmith who will glass bed the rifle. I assume "glass" means fiberglass. But I wonder if I am simply being taken to the cleaners. First of all, CAN YOU "glass bed" a Winchester Model 100? Secondly, will taking three inches off the stock make the gun inoperable? Third, can ANY gunsmith checker the fore end of a wooden gun stock, or is that a job for a specialist? Also, if you were going to shoot a 400 to 500 pound deer with a .243, what off the shelf cartridges would you use? And do you think that "glass bedding" this rifle would make it shoot any better?

my friends and family think that my boyfriend of 6 months is too controlling. my mother refers to him as my "master" and my friends question why i put up with his behavior. i am 18 years old and her is 21. the reason they think he is controlling is because he doesn't like for me to wear shorts, any shirt other than a tee shirt, high heels, or makeup. Should I glue an airsoft sound amplifier to my gun? help!!!?

So I was trying to unscrew the orange flashhider off my G&G gr16 carbine w/ Moe upgrades only to find that it was glued on as well. I tried heating and freezing it, but ended up weakening the barrel and the flashider was competely ripped off along with an entire inch and a half of the entire barrel. I grinded the barrel tip flat and I'm wondering if I should just glue the sound amplifer on? thanks! (there's no threading, it came off with the flash hider)

Savage makes some quality rifles that are very accurate. If you get the weather worrier series it comes with a muzzle break that will reduce recoil. Also you can just turn it and it closes the break for range shooting when there are people shooting close. Since you already have a 7mm mag get it in 300 win mag unless you want the 7mm.
