How the heck do you walk in heels?

I have to be a junior bridesmaid soon, and I just got some heels today to match my dress. Problem is, I'm a tomboy and the only time I've worn heels is when I was really little, and they were only like half an inch. Whenever I walk in them I'm super loud and wobbly so I nearly bust my butt everytime. How the heck am I supposed to walk down the isle in them? Please help!
